With all my European posting and my pals at home in winter, I have decided to share some of my favourite holiday stays in Victoria. Great for a little weekend (or mid week) getaway.
After COVID lockdown in Melbourne of nearly two years, I spent 1.5 years on the road with my dog, working and cooking all over Australia and jumping between Airbnb’s, short stays and friends houses.
I travelled all up the east coast of Australia and stayed in the hinterland, in the forrest and along the beach. Most of my work is in Melbourne, so I thought some stays across Victoria is the best place to start.
With winter currently working its magic (not), and some of you wanting a little time away to rejuvenate, you can head to either of the ten places below to fill up.
These stays are a mixture of when I have stayed both solo or with a group of pals, so there will be something for everyone! They are of course, dog friendly!!
The list of places I have stayed in Victoria over the years is up to 46, but I have just recommended some of my favourite ones for a weekend away with the links to book, no long explanation of why it’s great. It is on the list because it’s great. There are places to stay in country Victoria like Castlemaine and then places down on the beach like Anglesea and Mount Martha.
We are very lucky to have such a spectrum of wonderful places in Australia to stay, so gooooooo and explore.
